Well someone's busy... or rather procrastinating far too much and for far too long.

Finally wrapped up my first graphic novel, titled; 'Revenge of the Wood Boy' (A Pinocchio story) with the art and help of

We did this project to work on our skills as a writer and artist, respectfully. We got our foot in the door, now all we have to do is proceed forward.

The story is a bit fast pace for a retelling of an existing series. That's my fault. I couldn't decide on little or too much dialogue for Pinocchio as he goes on his killing spree. I think I got the pacing down better with #2 and hopefully the next 9 or so aswell.

I had other artists I was looking forward to working with aswell on other projects my own series. I'm writing up more stories - now that I have a laptop once again (after 4yrs -_-) - and looking forward to bringing them to life to distribute to the world.

Also working on three novels.... yea I know. But I find it refreshing to work on several at once so I don't get burned out with brainstorming on one project. Everyone work different.

This was just brought to my attention. I didn't even know about this and I read manga (only 2) and this goes on every month. Shonen Jump (popular manga publisher) holds a one shot contest every month.

I'm interested and looking forward to joining. As a writer I'll be needing an artist (or another writer if you would like to collaborate) to bring the work to life.

The share of the winnings will be 50/50%.  SJ (Shonen Jump) is an establish publisher, think Marvel or DC of Japan. So winning this contest would bring great exposure to both you and I since manga(comics) are even more popular and a part of everyday life in the Japanese culture.

Chibi - Comedy series I'm working on. Just started it earlier this month. It will hopefully be done in chibi style. I'll be updating this post as time goes by.

Title: Epic Agency (might change)
Genre: action-comedy; adventure; sci-fi


Synopsis: Epic Agency is a premiere agency with some of the top epic agents in the world.

The first arc follows the agents of an Agency known as, Epic Agency. As they combat Exodex. A terrorist group that has stolen a machine capable of creating black holes. With fears that Exodex will hold the world ransom with this w.m.d, Epic Agency is assign to seek and capture each and every member of Exodex and return the device safely.

Epic Agency has some of the most state of the art technology around. Their agents are always packing the latest gizmos and gadgets.

Manly there is three levels of agents;
Noob - entry, trainee, freshmens
L33t(Elite) - pros, experienced, juniors
Epic - experts, seniors

With Epic being the top rank and hardest to achieve.

-Concept costume design; something similar to what the suits/uniforms look like in the Fantastic Four movie(s), worn by the Fantastic Four. With a jacket worn over the uniform. I like the tight fit and look.
  - These body tight suits are actually alien ware. They are self power self efficient suits. They also power and enhance everything the user does.

-All agents have two wrist gauntlets (one for each wrist) This gauntlets are advance high tech technology which allows them to accomplish alot of their feats. Mainly weapons and defense. Their high tech body suits powers them.

- Most of the agents are in their early 20s, the senior agents are in their late 20s maybe early 30s at most. So a young bunch.

Pwn:

Fury: wears two high tech eye strapless patches (so both his eyes are covered/ Like Kenpachi from "Bleach' his new eyepatch, only 2).

Fox: female sexy agent - Hispanic / Latina - brown hair in a ponytail

Thor: has a Thor complex, shoulder length hair - wields a hammer w/lightning tech to give himself the appearance of Thor.

General: tough acting - has military award medal on his jacket. Has a crew cut hair style. - thin mustache and goatee connected - Chest always pointed out. He's very macho.

Blackhawk: native amer. - has a mohawk hairstyle - wields two pulse ray tomahawks -



L33t Agents
Shadow: quiet, soft spoken. low cut hairstyle/ black hair -

DoubleAgent: - wears shades - low cut black hair - serious looking

Spex: tech guy - glasses - has a bed hair type hairstyle. -

Eggo: short curly hair - one of the youngest of the group - always eating a waffle - carries mini waffles with him at all time

PumPum: black female - two hair puffs - really cute - her wrist gauntlets are smallest of any other agent.

Scully: white/ginger female - spunky(cool) look/attitude - wears skullcaps/beanies -

Champ: aka 'The People's Champ'. Has a wrestler complex. He wears a champion belt instead of the standard Agency issued belt.
He's an instigator. Like's to say, "You mad bro?" a lot.

Nukem: hot-headed - mid length hair (comes pass his ears and just above his eyes). Reddish brown.

Request: rebellious agents. Doesn't do what he's told.

Poca: female - cute - fair skin/tan - she's dark skin.

Crysus - overly dramatic


Villians - Neo
Neo is a group of terrorist - that consist of 10 members - who have stolen a machine capable of creating blackholes. They are headed by the, I Neo (1st Neo/One).

Character design - The members all wear robe like uniforms with masks to conceal their identities. On their masks are each members rank. The 10 members are ranked 1-10 in Roman Numerals.

So the first member would have, I on his face mask, 2nd member would have, II on his to represent his spot as #2. So on as, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X

The numbers could also be on their chest as well.

The color scheme would be red and white for their robing, white black trim. The numbers would be in gold though.




Keep in mind the series is a comedy. The artwork I would like preferably would be,  CHIBI style. I feel chibi will help bring out the series, especially since that's how I envision it.

I'm still working on things, just came up with the idea earlier this month, got sidetracked and picked it back up the other day.
